This studycompared the technique such as Gabor-wavelet filter banks and LocalBinary Patterns (LBP) that were commonly used for facial expression recognition.Broad experimentalphases designed to analyze accuracy efficiency of each state art techniques regardingfacial recognition. A close analysis Receiver Operating Characteristics (ROC) andoverall results well-known databasesrevealedthat LBPbased extraction offacial features was most efficient effective technique.
